Account switching enables the users who are already logged into the system to switch between different T-Pro accounts without the need to log out and log in again.
The feature needs to be enabled on facility level by a Master user (or T-Pro Admin).
There are two options:
- Switching between accounts within one organisation
- Switching between accounts of different organisations
Select the facility you want to enable the feature for and go to SETTINGS.
Scroll further down and click on SHOW ADVANCED SETTINGS.
You need to select the following settings:
App - Enable user linking - userLinkingEnabled -> use this setting for account linking within the same facility
Allow external user linking - enableExternalUserLinking -> use this setting additionally for account linking between different facilities
To allow external linking, you must enable this setting for each relevant facility.
Always activate the new setting with the slider (1) , update (2) and save (3).
=> Users of the relevant facilities can now link author, clerical, and manager accounts in T-Pro's web application for simplified access through switching.
- Credentials for each linked account only need to be entered once by the user during the Switch Account setup.
- Users can link more than one account.
- In the Dictate Mobile app only author accounts can be linked because only the author role is supported by this application.
