This release focuses on performance and stability, and adds several new features that give users more flexibility over how they dictate.
- Background Dictation - Users can now continue dictating into a target application even when it isn't in the foreground, so they can reference other materials without losing their dictation focus.
- "Same as System" Microphone - Speech Direct can now automatically follow the Windows default microphone, so switching between headsets, docking stations, or internal microphones no longer requires manually reconfiguring the microphone setting.
- Task Bar Minimisation - The application can now be minimised to the Windows Task Bar to free up screen space. Recording pauses automatically while minimised, to prevent accidental input.
- Internet Connection Monitor - A colour-coded status indicator now shows the quality of the internet connection, alerting users to latency or packet loss that could affect dictation.
- Modernised UI - Updated icons, colours, and spacing bring the interface in line with T-Pro's current design and accessibility standards.
- Bug fixes - related to voice command responsiveness, Microsoft Word integration, audio device and connectivity handling, and CRIS reporting integration.
