Switching User Accounts in the Dictate Mobile App

This is an optional feature and only available to you if enabled by your organisation.

Switching accounts enables the user to easily switch between different author accounts without the need to log out and log in again.

Note: The screenshots used in this article are from an Android phone and therefore look slightly different to the app running on an iPhone. The described process works in the same way.

Set up other accounts for switching

To access the Switch Account option go to Settings.

On the main screen tap on the cog icon to open the Settings screen.

Under Settings tap on your user email address.

The Switch Account screen opens.
Note: If the Switch Account screen does not open for you, the feature is not enabled.

The user has no linked accounts.

Tap on ADD ACCOUNT.

The T-Pro login screen opens.
Enter the credentials of the author account you want to link to the account you are currently logged in with.

Tap on SIGN IN.

=> You are now signed in as the "new" author you linked to the first one.

• You can link more than one account; just repeat the steps above with other accounts to link them as well.
• In the Dictate Mobile app you can only link author accounts because only the author role is supported by this application.
• In T-Pro's web application you can also link other roles to your author account, e.g. if you also have a manager or clerical account. Those can only be accessed in the web application.

Switch between your accounts

Once you have one or more accounts set up for switching you can easily do so from within the Settings screen.

Tap on your user email address (same as further up).
In the Switch Account screen you see now the linked user account(s).

Just tap on the user name to switch to this account.

=> In the above screen the New User is a member of the same facility as the first user (facility name KH KL).

If enabled by your organisation you can link author accounts from different facilities in the same way.
