Alignment issue in Address block in Template - Conditional text Bug
There is a weird bug in DMW that if you add a dynamic conditional text binding alongside the Dynamic Recipient name in the address block. Even though it looks like the system has placed a character space between the bindings in the template editor, it is not showing up in the actual documents. If you add the Dynamic conditional text binding, add the text you want to show up and save - and then come back later to change the text, the changes won't stick. (i.e. add the space at the end of the conditional text later, the conditional text will not show up at all. If you add an extra space between the 2 x bindings in the template editor, then when the conditional text conditions are not met (in this example, if the paitent is not equal to or under the age of 16) then there will be a character space at the beginning of the recipients name that looks like an indent. To successfully configure the following: Parent / Caregiver of Miss Rachael Woodhead Add dynamic conditional text binding to the template Edit the dynamic conditional text and add the text and rules. At the end of the text include a character space Add the dynamic recipient name Remove the character space in the template editor between the two bindings Save Test and ensure that the character spacings are where you expect them to be and that the conditional text appears under the right conditions. NB: If you get it wrong, you have to delete the current configuration/bindings, save and then manually readd them. You can't copy and paste the string/binding over the top. INCORRECT CORRECT CORRECT
