A few changes will make the letter creation process a little more straight forward. In the options for the template, under the Settings tab, untick Ask for letter name This will stop the pop up that they were entering the patient’s NHI from appear. Don’t worry, the letter will still be in the patients outgoing communications and will just display the template name in the Subject/Reason column instead of the NHI Also in options under the Recipients tab, untick Patient Copy and All others in F3-Providers. This will avoid the user selecting all the recipients When you set the lead external provider (world icon) in the patient’s demographics The step to choose the recipient will be automatic The final step chooses the medical note that you want to use to populate the fields in the letter is a requirement. Note that the last note will always highlight first and pressing the spacebar will choose that note. Try changing those few things and it should make the process a little quicker.
