Health Alliance DMO not installed with Admin rights
Workspace tech who created the DMO package said that DMO should be launching with admin rights as it’s in the correct GPO. Maybe check these PC have the correct package installed. Subject: RE: Regarding Incident 4245291 Hi James, Thank you for the update. Would you know when Grant is available next so I can get in touch with the him and see if we can launch DMO with admin rights? Also, even if the issue resolves after running DMO as admin, what would be the permanent fix going forward as it may not be feasible to run DMO as admin on each machine? Subject: RE: Regarding Incident 4245291 BE CYBER SMART - This email is from an external sender - Please do not click links or open attachments from unknown sources - Forward suspicious emails to scam@healthalliance.co.nz Hi Akshita, I have been investigating with Scott Wood for the following users having this issue. Grant Chandler Emma Lawrey Amanda Rosenberg We could not replicate with Scott Wood but on Tuesday I spent some time with Grant Chandler. With Grant I could see the issue. We tried to run DMO as administrator for Grant but was prompted to enter an admin username/password. I am not sure what computers need to be checked out but what I think needs to happen is a possible re-install of DMO or make DMO run as administrator. Some info from Grant…it looks like the computers out on the “floor” James attempted to trouble-shoot over the phone yesterday, and thought he found the problem. I don't have his email, so thought worth letting you know: Today there is one office computer that is automatically transferring text into the EDS clinical note system. The computers I have used out on the "floor" are not doing this, but I can copy and paste the text. Basically can you set DMO to run as administrator and then test the issue? Subject: RE: Regarding Incident 4245291 Morning Akshita. I understand that this is still an issue and occurring for all current users of DMO in the ED department. Chris is away at present and James is working on this issue. Maybe it is all the users have logged the issue separately? Regards, Rachael From: Akshita Sunkari (healthAlliance)
