How do I setup new WinScribeMD mobility author accounts?
The Heart Group (example site) authors use the WinScribeMD mobility application to record dictations that then flow into DMW Desktop for typing.
Browse to the production server AHG-SENTINEL and open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
SQL Server Authentication: Username and password are available in Keepass
Expand Databases > WinscribePDA > Tables
Right click on dbo.doctor
Select Edit Top 200 Rows
This will display a list of the author accounts and their associated Winscribe AuthorID's.
Scroll to the bottom of the table. Additional lines can be added to the bottom of the table. Copy existing columns and append a further AuthorID to the last number.
Drop the cursor into the NULL cell under AuthorID and type in the next number, press TAB to move to the next cell.
Once the line is complete and you have finished the line this will commit to the database.
Once new DMW Text author accounts have been created then new lines can be added to the database with the associated author names. These AuthorID’s then need to be added into the ImportID field under the DMW Text author profiles in DMWM.
